Known everywhere for its wines and cuisine, is to be discovered on foot, walking in its historic center that preserves the medieval layout.
Roman “Municipium” known as Hasta Pompeia or simply Hasta, was the seat of the Ducat of Asti, the lombard ducat of Neustria.
The Middle Ages, a period of great wealth and power, left traces of splendor in its main monuments, the cathedral, the collegiate church of San Secondo, the San Pietro in Consavia complex, the towers, palaces and streets.
