Ivrea

Ivrea (Ĕpŏrĕdĭa in Latin) is a Roman city in the province of Turin. It is considered the capital of Canavese, and it is rich in medieval monuments.
Strategically crossroads already in remote times, Ivrea connects Turin and Milan with the Val d’Aosta region.
The old town of Ivrea hangs on a hill that leads to the Castle of Savoy and the Duomo, while the modern part occupies both banks of the Dora Baltea river.
